Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Community School teacher will provide instruction and work with school administrative staff, teachers, parents, and students to identify and address barriers to learning with the assistance of community resources. The Community School teacher is responsible for developing students' academic and social skills through prescribed course work that addresses the specific educational needs of students while maintaining an orderly and safe learning environment. The Community School teacher works cooperatively with the school/district of residence, staff, and supervisor to implement students’ Individual Learning Plan.
