Faliraki is a coastal resort just south of the beautiful Rhodes Town in Greece. Attracting everyone from groups of friends to couples and families, get ready to let your hair down on its bar-lined strip, bathe on its blissful beaches, and make a splash in its huge waterpark (one of the biggest in Europe!) And if that’s not enough action for one holiday, you’ve got plenty of watersports down on the sand such as banana boat rides, paragliding and sunset cruises for something slower-paced.
Pristine beaches
You don’t have to wander far to find a stunning beach in Faliraki. Not only is its main beach one of the most popular on the island, but it also comes with a flashy Blue Flag, plenty of amenities, and a huge selection of watersports. Plus, with 5 kilometres of sand to stretch out on you shouldn’t have a problem securing a lounger, even in summer. Prefer something a little more secluded? Hop over to Anthony Quinn Bay (just south of Faliraki) where you’ll be welcomed by the green-tinged waters and pine-covered cliffs. You won’t find much here other than a few loungers sitting on the sand, but if you’re just looking for somewhere to swim, snorkel or sunbathe, it’s perfect!
Fun nights out
It’s no secret Faliraki has a party reputation! There’s still plenty going on at Bar Street and Club Street, but the resort has definitely toned things down in recent years with plenty of families and couples heading here too. Karaoke bars, co*cktail spots and clubs hosting big-name DJs are just some of the fun places to head come sundown. Don’t want to be in the midst of all the late-night action? You don’t have to! There’s plenty of bars away from the main streets for those seeking a casual evening.
Exciting day trips
Want to explore outside of Faliraki? You’ve got some amazing day trip options on your doorstep. Rhodes Town is just a short drive away (20 mins) if you fancy delving into the island’s past. Filled with medieval beauty from its mosaic streets to its grand palaces and stunning archways - the town is a historical masterpiece. Another must-see in Lindos (40 mins away). This whitewashed town is what Greek dreams are made of with its rooftop tavernas, acropolis views and stunning set of beaches.

Lindos is a picture-perfect village on the east cost of Rhodes, the biggest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands (and the most popular one, too). This former fishing village has become one of the most photographed places in the country, thanks to its fascinating Byzantine architecture, ancient churches, and whitewashed buildings speckling the hillside. And of course, the towering acropolis that dominates the town is a spectacular attraction!

And when you’re ready for a bite to eat, you’ll find all kinds of welcoming tavernas to satisfy your hunger. If you’re looking for a real taste of authentic Greece, Lindos is an excellent choice.
