Working hard so I can afford to spend more time with this face 😊Our rescue dog Atlas has been with us 6 months and though he can look a bit scary to those who don't know him, everyone who's met him knows how he's a soppy, loving and very anxious being. This is his happy face.Rescuing isn't easy and we're currently on a month long road trying to reduce all excitement and triggers so that we can reintroduce triggers with training after stress levels are back to baseline. He never really had a family home and spent most of his life in kennels which is pretty awful for his breed. He came to us on anxiety meds but we were able to get him off them not long after he was with us luckily.Anyone else working on making a rescue pet whole again?

Our silly, soppy, ball of energy, who came to us after his first 18months with barely any walks or socialization still has moments of anxiety after 4 years, but is a truly excellent family member

Was annoyed to hear a climate question in last nights debate basically got reduced down to a question about energy. This isn't the only strategy we should be looking at to solve the nature and climate crisis. Make sure to #VoteWILD this election.

⚖️The UK government has spelled out its position on whether or not nature has legal rights. “While we of course recognise the importance of protecting and advancing nature, the UK position is that rights can only be held by legal entities, not nature or Mother Nature.🌳Interesting question on exactly what a legal entity is though. If non-persons such as countries and businesses can be legal entities then why can't a forest or a river? We should be following the footsteps of countries like Ecuador, Bolivia, Uganda, the US, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, Mexico and Northern Ireland instead of once again, choosing capitalism and greed over the protection of nature.Read the article below by Jonathan Watts

🤗 I am so enamoured with this podcast and how great it is to listen to.Rob Smith speaking to many guests from many sectors, industries and backgrounds about how they're adapting to climate change and thinking more sustainably sends shivers down my spine. It touches on really interesting topics such as development, farming, eco-tourism and now we've even spoken to a game keeper who is also a conservationist.🎙 What brings me joy is that this podcast really highlights the breadth and depth of the UK and the people within it. There are many of us with different attitudes and lifestyles but we all live on this island together and we're trying to make the most of it. I think if you listen, you'll be as lifted by these amazing stories as I have been.👉https://lnkd.in/e_ZPx87c
