Job Summary

The job of "Teacher - Secondary" is done for the purpose/s of developing students' academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implementing district-approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Experience Required:Valid California teaching credential for the appropriate level of instruction and/or subjects If you do not possess a credential, you must attach documents showing you are eligible for an Internship, Provisional Internship Permit (PIP), or Short Term Staff Permit (STSP).Prior teaching experience desired.

The following documents must be scanned and attached to the application prior to submission on-line:

  • Credential Copy (Copy of valid teaching credential )
  • English Learner Authorization (CLAD/CTEL Exams/Copy of credential if authorization is embedded, etc. )
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters of recommendation are required)
  • Other (Copy of Degree(s) or college transcript verifying degree awarded)
  • Resume
